He is an alumni of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur under the Government of Odisha. He has acquired his Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2002 and received his Doctor of Medicine [MD] degree in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from the same medical school.
Currently he is faculty in the department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (famously known as JIPMER), Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Goverment of India, Pondicherry.
He is having more than 7 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Fornsic Medicine and Toxicology. His research field is Medical toxicology and also in the fields of Forensic Neurolopathology, Forensic Neurology, Forensic Psychiatry, DNA Typing & Molecular Forensics, Medical Jurisprudence & Deontology. Besides, he has acquired special trainings/skills in Analytical Toxicology, DNA Typing, Crime scene investigation, Basic Epidemiology, Animal experiment in medical practice and a certified trainee of National Medical Teacher’s Training Course as well. Currently, he an active reviewer for some international peer-reviewed journals.
He has been falicitated in Toxocon-10 conference on 29th December 2016 for the category of best editor of Toxicology journals in India.
