WebI use Indy 144 for 8.25 and Indy 149 for 8.38-8.5. It's personal preference though and your 8.0 inch trucks probably work fine with 8.25 deck if you don't want to spend money on new trucks when you try out a bigger size deck. i use a 144 for 8.25, indy has a chart that has the sizes that corresponds with the deck size.

WebOct 1, 2022 · imo 149s are absolutely perfect on 8.6". the nut will sit perfectly flush with the board when you stand it on its side instead of being slightly skewed towards the wheel. the trucks measure where the wheel will line up with the board, not with the axle / nut. WebIndy mids are low esp the forged base exp your max wheel size to be 52. Indys have the best turn carv in my opinion esp if you use the conical bushings or flip the road side washer. I'm a riding 9" board with 8.75" Mini Logo trucks, stacked washers all the way to the end so that my wheels are pa with my board.
