WebFeb 20, 2020 · I have Bilstein 5100 on the rear of my truck and love how it helped to calm the rear end over bumps. I have experience with Konis on my 2001, lowered Saab 9-3 and they handle so amazingly well in that application. WebJan 31, 2010 · If I remember correctly, the Koni's did better on smooth roads and the Blistein's did better on rough roads. Just remember, shocks improve the vertical movement thus giving a smoother ride, but do not do much for side to side or roll movements, where trac bars and anti sway bars help. Paul & Linda.
