WebBest neurospex • 6 yr. ago Most truck companies make trucks for 8" and 8.5" decks, and you would have to pick one of those. So the one sized for an 8" deck makes the most sense. Of course some companies like Krux do make 8.25" trucks, so that's also an option, but 8" is the easiest to get and the simplest choice.

WebLow trucks offer the most stability but careful about bigger wheels, low trucks are around 46 to 49 mm. Anything between a 48 and 53mm wheel diameter is usually fine for low trucks. Beyond that, you'll need riser pads but this defeats the purpose of low trucks, might as well get a pair of highs.

WebI always like to go an eighth of an inch over so 129's = 7.75 deck and 139's = 8.125 deck also Indies run pretty high 55mm standard 53.5 mm hollow and titanium, and 48.5 for the lows, the difference between 129 and 139 on 8 inch deck is stability vs carvieness I like to carve more so I'd go 129 but again more like a 7.75-7.9, and w/ 139s more

WebJun 5, 2020 · For 8.125" I prefer Thunder 147 trucks with an extra washer on the inside of the wheels. I strongly recommend not to ride wheels bigger than 52mm. If you want to ride bigger wheels, get risers or get 148 Thunders as they are a bit higher than 147. When I ride a board that small I prefer the lightest set up I can get. Logged
